The smoky mountains was the first big planned thing to do on my trip. Being me, I didn't do much research until an hour before driving out and I found a waterfall that seemed really cool. So my dog and I drive out, we're walking down a trail and a park ranger tells us no dogs are allowed on the trails, especially because they had just seen two black bears where we were headed. It makes sense that national parks with wild animals wouldn't allow dogs, but I never would've thought to check on that rule. We were still allowed to walk around parking lots just not deep into the mountains, I still shot some cool stuff!
Photos were taken driving throughout the park and Clingman's dome. I didn't hike to the top of the dome because of my pup but the view around the lot was still really nice.
